Technical and Media Services : Setting Up Poster in PowerPoint

The following steps will show you how to set up your poster in Microsoft PowerPoint.

  1. Open MICROSOFT POWERPOINT .
  2. The PowerPoint Dialog Box opens, asking to create a new presentation:
    • Select BLANK PRESENTATION.
  3. The New Slide Dialog Box opens, allowing choice of autolayout:
    • Select BLANK SLIDE.
  4. Set the poster size.
    • Select FILE -> PAGE SETUP.
    • Select SLIDES SIZED FOR:
    • Change from ON-SCREEN SHOW to CUSTOM .
    • Change WIDTH to the width of your poster.
    • Change HEIGHT to height of your poster.
