Library Lost & Found

Please stop by the Library Lost & Found at the Circulation Desk
to see if your misplaced item is here! There are many items in the Lost & Found, including jackets, coffee mugs, notebooks, eyeglasses, and more. We have cell phones and flash drives as well.

All items in the Library Lost and Found will be discarded
after Finals Week.

Need LAC Credits? Try a DVD!

Students short of the required 25 LACs may watch LAC approved DVDs. They must then write a two-page, double-spaced paper on the DVD. More information on LACs are available on the LAC Website.

Approved DVDs are located in the library. You can locate them by:

Free Trial to 17th-19th Century British & American Newspapers

The Library is pleased to offer a free trial of Historical American
and British Newspapers
from Gale until June 5, 2009. This trial
does not require a password to access articles.

This collection of fully searchable historical American and British newspapers includes digital facsimile images of both full pages and clipped articles for hundreds of British and U.S. newspapers.
For each issue, the newspaper is captured from cover-to-cover, providing access to every article, advertisement and illustration.

MeLCat Update

Kalamazoo College students, faculty, and staff now can place multiple MeLCat requests without having to re-enter their home library, user name, and password each time. You will see a message instructing you to logoff when done. It is important to remember to do this when using MeLCat at a public computer. The system will automatically end your session if it's been inactive for 7 minutes.
