Archives receives IMLS "Bookshelf" award

The Kalamazoo College Archives has received the Connecting to Collections Bookshelf award from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). We are one of 776 U.S. libraries, museums, and other cultural institutions to receive the award this year.

The Bookshelf is a set of publications, online resources, and a user's guide that were put together to help small libraries and museums with conservation and preservation concerns. The IMLS and the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) coordinate the award, which is supported by the Getty Foundation, the Henry Luce Foundation, and the Samuel H. Kress Foundation.

For more information, see the full IMLS press release.
