Free Trial to Cambridge Histories Online

The Library is pleased to announce a free trial of Cambridge Histories Online until August 21, 2008.

This database is an online version of the well-respected Cambridge History Reference works. "Cambridge Histories Online contains 250 volumes published since 1960, equating to around 196,000 pages of unrivaled scholarship. They are generally split down into two 'types': Histories devoted mainly to political and economic history for example The Cambridge History of China; and Histories devoted to subjects for example The Cambridge History of Renaissance Political Thought."

The Library is pleased to announce its subscription to two online Reference sources:

• Complete Dictionary of Scientific Biography , 26v, 2008
• International Encyclopedia of the Social Sciences , 9v, 2008

These two titles are part of the Gale Virtual Reference Library, and both are the latest editions.
