New Look for the PAIS Database

The Library is pleased to announce that our PAIS (Public Affairs International) database has a new look! We have changed vendors and hope that this new interface will be more useful for you. New features include the ability to sort results by publication type (including peer-reviewed journals) and an "alerts" system that searches PAIS for new content every week and sends the information to you via email.

You can access the PAIS database on or off campus in two ways:

Full Compliment of Periodical Back Issues Now Available

During the Library renovation project, we could only keep the years 1990 to the present of most journal titles in circulation because of storage space issues. The bound periodicals have been moved into the new library building, so the Library's full holdings of periodical back issues are now available!

Until the end of fall quarter, you should still request back issues of journals (usually issues other than the current year) through Ariadne.
