Scopus Database Trial
The Library is pleased to announce a trial to Scopus. This database, a product of Elsevier publishers, offers access to 14,000 peer-reviewed titles from more than 4,000 international publishers in the areas of Health, Life Sciences, Agricultural and Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Social Science, Psychology, Economics, and Business and Management.
Scopus not only gives the abstract of an article, but it links to references within articles as well. Scopus is not a full text database, but you can check Ariadne or the Electronic Journal Finder to see if Kalamazoo College has access to print or electronic versions of the articles indexed in Scopus.
You can access Scopus in two ways:
- Directly: http://www.scopus.com/, or
- Through the Database Trials page on the Library website: http://www.kzoo.edu/is/library/indexes/trials.html
