Library Resouces Available During Renovation
Books and periodicals are still available through the Kalamazoo
College Library in Hicks Center. Items may be requested through
Ariadne, the online catalog (http://ariadne.kzoo.edu/).
Kalamazoo College students, faculty, and staff can also request
items through InMICH, free of charge, from over 20 Michigan
libraries. Search http://inmich.mlc.lib.mi.us/, order the titles
of your choice, and pick them up at the Kalamazoo College
Library's circulation desk in Hicks Center.
In addition, Kalamazoo College students, faculty, and staff can
check out books and other materials from the Libraries at Western
Michigan University. Waldo Library is on the city bus route. The
#16 bus runs up Lovell Street to Waldo. See http://www.kmetro.org
for schedules and fares.
Waldo Library's regular hours are:
Monday - Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Call 269-387-5155 for a recording of Waldo's hours of operation,
or see http://www.wmich.edu/library/ for more information.
As a courtesy during the renovation and expansion project,
students, faculty, and staff can return items checked out from
Western's libraries to the Kalamazoo College Library's circulation
desk.
There is a book return in Red Square next to Dewing. Kalamazoo
College library books may be returned in the book return. Please
return videos and reserve items to the circultation desk in Hicks.
