Title: Head Coach, Women's Tennis

Immediate supervisor: Director of Athletics

Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, MI, an NCAA Division III, liberal arts institution in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, is seeking to fill a position as women’s head tennis coach.  This is a full-time appointment.  Responsibilities include leading and organizing all facets of a Division III tennis program during the traditional and non-traditional seasons, knowledge of and adherence to MIAA and NCAA rules, scheduling of non-league contests, recruiting, and overseeing the program’s budget.  Additional responsibilities include teaching courses in the PE Department, serving as the Director of Tennis facilities and administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with proven successful tennis coaching experience.  Master’s degree, collegiate tennis coaching experience and USTPA “Professional” rating are preferred, but not required.  Additional administrative experience in tennis facility management and program development is preferred.
