These are scholarships and fellowships offered by national and international foundations. Most of them are exceedingly competitive and their applications require careful thought and preparation. Winning one, however, can open many doors for you in the future.
If you are interested in applying for any of these, you must submit a preliminary application to Dr. Diane Kiino, Chair of the Graduate Fellowships Committee in advance of the fellowship deadline.

Davis Peace Projects: Ten-thousand dollar grants awarded for projects for peace (broadly defined) to be conducted Summer 2010. All students, as individuals or groups, are eligible to apply. Campus deadline, January 19, 2010.

Scholarships: Awarded to juniors planning to attend
graduate school in preparation for careers in government,
education or other forms of public service. Campus deadline, January 19, 2010.

The Morris K.
Udall Scholarship: For sophomores or juniors who have
outstanding potential and who study the environment and
related fields.
OR for Native American and Alaska Native sophomores or juniors who have outstanding potential and are in fields related to health care or tribal public policy. Last year, Genevieve Leet, K '11, became K College's first Udall Scholar! Campus deadline, February 15, 2010.
