Special Initiatives

Special initiatives and priority needs of the College are often of particular interest to those who wish to make a gift in support of Kalamazoo College. There are currently two special intitiatives underway for which we are seeking funding.

  • Established in 2005, The Jewish Studies Program at Kalamazoo College seeks to advance the knowledge of the rich history, religion, and culture of the Jewish people. The Program also provides a source of academic support for the College’s Jewish Student Organization. The Program’s pursuit of these goals contributes to the fullness of Jewish life on campus and to the international flavor of a Kalamazoo College education.

  • The Tish Loveless Women's Athletic Endowment, established through the generosity of Elaine (Goff) Hutchcroft '63, was announced at a ceremony following the Hornet women's tennis match on Monday, April 21. The generous endowment will support and enhance the eight current varsity women's athletic teams, and will continue to impact women's teams of future generations.
