WHEREAS, We recognize our continuing responsibility as citizens to the betterment of the country and the local community in which we live;

WHEREAS, We dedicate ourselves to uniting and coordinating progressive students at Kalamazoo College in order to advance equality, freedom, opportunity, and an environment of open political dialogue;

WHEREAS, We advocate political awareness amongst our peers and facilitate political discourse and action at the level of the organization, the greater campus community, the City of Kalamazoo, and the nation as a whole;

WHEREAS, We seek to work cooperatively with other student organizations to enhance the effectiveness of our actions in the pursuit of mutual goals; and

WHEREAS, We endeavor, as Democrats and future leaders, to mold the ideals of the Party such that they reflect the greatest interests of the American citizens; be it

RESOLVED by the Kalamazoo College Democrats, That in all future endeavors as an organization, we will hereby exemplify these aforementioned values and this common purpose.
