Discussion

The need for strong and effective leadership surfaced again and again in conversations with citizens throughout the county. Many talked about a leadership void created by changes in corporate leadership in the area. A common theme was the need for leaders to "step up to the plate," make decisions in consultation with citizens, and then follow through with action.
