North Section of Gourdneck State Game Area

(Angling road, south of Center Avenue)

 

 

 

 

Description: It is a wetland – climbing fern, rare plant – showy lady’s slipper orchids.  It contains a large area of woods and fields.  A couple of lakes are also attached to the area.  It is used for hunting.

 

Why it should be preserved: It should be preserved for its rare wetland plants.  It gives animals a place to live and hunters a place to hunt without going way up north.
