Adams Property
(North side of Stadium Drive – east of Rambling Road)

Description: Natural habitat that to my understanding does not have a lot of non-native invasive species. The site included 2+ acres of oak savanna remnant and floodplain, wet prairie, and shrub wetland.
Why it should be preserved: It is unique for the above reasons and is a green corridor needed from the west into the city of Kalamazoo and the University. It contains diverse remnant of the original county habitat.
Other Comments: Development should not be allowed. I am sure it helps prevent erosion that is leading to the need to dredge Arcadia sewer. It is currently owned by Adams Outdoor Advertising Company.
Type of Property: Buffer, Scenic Viewpoint, Unique Habitat, Historic
