Rotikiwau Camp

(Just south of KVCC – east of 8th street)

 

 

 

 

 

Description: The land has variable features – lakes, hardwoods, formerly and presently cleared areas.  It is a Boy Scout camp.

 

Why it should be preserved:  It is a historic and natural area.  It contains many rare and endangered plants.

 

Other Comments:  Natural areas are convenient to the local population, but the camp is mostly restricted to scouting use.  Many people have great memories from this area.
