Cashing a Personal Check
Checks under $200 are cashed as a courtesy in the Bookstore (downstairs in Hicks Center), on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need your student ID card to cash a check.

We will also cash your check in the Business Office if we have cash available . The best times to do this are between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Cashing Your Student Paycheck
You may cash your student paycheck at any National City Bank branch. The closest one is located downtown on the corner of West Michigan Avenue and the mall on Burdick Street. West Michigan Avenue is one block north of Academy, Burdick Street is five blocks east (down the hill) after you cross Stadium Drive. National City will require two pieces of picture ID, and they recommend that you bring your driver's license and student ID card. If the check is less than $50.00 or you have a National City account, there will be no fee. If not, there is a processing fee of $7.00.
