Office: Dow 303; Email: bmoore@kzoo.edu

2007-present   Associate Professor of Biology, Kalamazoo College, MI
2001-2007   Assistant Professor of Biology, Kalamazoo College, MI
2000-2001   Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology, Haverford College, Haverford, PA
1998-2000   Postdoctoral Fellow, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA

Research Interests
My general research focus is on the molecular and cell biology of neurons, particularly intrinsic and extrinsic factors regulating their survival and death. Two specific projects involving undergraduate collaborators are ongoing, one aimed at understanding the molecular basis for Alzheimer’s disease, and another investigating the molecular mechanisms of ethanol neurotoxicity.
