Hi! My name is Ellen. I am a senior and this is my second year as a Writing Center Consultant. I am a biology major and am currently working on a SIP with humpback whales and the tide cycle. I spent junior fall and winter in Oaxaca, Mexico. My interests include pick-up sports, dancing in Asiafest and the great outdoors.

I am a senior English and Classical Studies double major with a Theatre minor. I am the editor of both The Cauldron, the college's literary magazine, and The Passage, the college's study abroad magazine. I studied abroad in Athens, Greece in 2006. I am an active member of the Festival Playhouse theatre productions each semester. I am excited to work in the Writing Center this year and look forward to reading everyone's work!

Hi, I'm Jeanette. I'm a sophomore majoring in English with a writing emphasis. I love improvisational theatre, trees, and writing.

Lenya
My name is Lenya, I am a senior here at Kalamazoo College, and this is my second year working at the Writing Center. Although my major is biology, I have a spectrum of interests ranging from theatre and eastern religion to comic books and Scrabble. My favorite part of the writing process is re-imagining rough drafts into crisp, polished text, but I love wordplay and peer review of all kinds.

I'm Ryan, and I'm a junior English major. I am a member of the swim team as well as the non-fiction editor of The Cauldron. I recently studied abroad in Bonn, Germany.

Hi! I'm Xian (that's pronounced shan). I was born in Suzhou, China, and now live in Clarkston, Michigan. I'm a sophomore here at K studying English literature and French. Aside from my work at the Writing Center, my interests include classical music (listening to it and playing it badly), creative writing, ballroom dance, photography, and vintage shopping. I love my job and Kalamazoo College in general, and I wish you all a good day!
