In October, 2006 the Lillian Anderson Arboretum Advisory Committee added it's first student member. Joe Warner is a second year student who has shown a keen interest in the Arboretum and a willingness to help out with the many volunteer chores that keep the Arb functioning. Better yet, he's a thoughtful individual who has already come up with a number of new ideas for furthering the Arboretum's mission.

Joe is a graduate of Portage Central High School. He has already made an impression on K College as a member of the Student Commission, a Resident Assistant, a Student Chaplain and an Honors student who will be declaring a major in Biology and a minor in Chinese. His main interests include hockey, sailing, cinema, outdoor activities and the stewardship of our endangered natural areas. We're thrilled to have him as a member of the Advisory Committee and look forward to his contributions in the next three years.
