K-Talk: Leveraging K Connections to Incorporate Mindfulness into Higher Education
Room 103, Dewing Hall
How does the College’s “More in a Lifetime” tagline play out for engaged alumni? Matt Thieleman and Karman Kent (’07) have a powerful example. Thanks to their K connection, the two teamed up to create a much-needed program for college students. They’ll touch on how they shaped the direction of their professional lives to be of service to others, and share advice on how others can do the same. Karman will also discuss the importance of self-care for college students and Matt will lead meditations designed to help us live our best lives today and tomorrow. Co-sponsored by the Center for Career and Professional Development (CCPD) and the Alumni Association Executive Board (AAEB) Professional Networking Committee.
