Early Oktoberfest – Homemade Beer, Pretzels, and Much More!
Please come and have fun, food and spirits with your fellow K alumni at the Yourick farmette in Howard County, Maryland! The Youricks have brewed an ale (Two-Hearted clone from Bell’s General Store) and stout (both kegged) to go along with bratwurst, homemade sauerkraut and more. Learn how to make pretzels from scratch; it’s fun and easy! Meet the horses, chickens and other residents in a welcoming rural setting. Weather permitting, a fire circle will be lit for everyone’s fireside enjoyment of a few sweets and the evening sky.
This event is hosted by Alumni Association Engagement Board President, Debra Tokarski Yourick ’80 and Jeffrey Yourick ’79.
