K Alumni Outing: White House Traditions & Sweets 

Please join your fellow K alumni for White House Traditions & Sweets, the final 2019 installment of the White House Historical Association’s quarterly lecture series, White House History with Ann Compton. World renowned White House Pastry Chef Roland Mesnier and White House traditions and East Wing expert Jennifer Pickens will come together to speak about their recent publications on traditions, celebrations, and ceremonies with first families at the White House. Mesnier’s book, Creating the Sweet World of Desserts: A Pastry Chef’s Secrets will be available for purchase and Pickens’s book, Entertaining at the White House: Decades of Presidential Traditions will be available for pre-order at the event.

This event is hosted by Mary Smolenski ’86, Erin Mazzoni ’07 and Brennan McBride ’07.
