Members of the Class of 1949 will enjoy a class luncheon at the Park Club, located at 219 W South St in Kalamazoo. After lunch the class will walk to the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts for a guided tour of Georgia O’Keeffe and Her Times: American Modernism from the Lane Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Lunch is $18/person or $25/person for lunch and the O’Keeffe exhibit.

Emeritus Club Brunch and Annual Meeting

The Class of 1959 will be honored with induction to the Emeritus Club, and alumni Jim Fowler ’56, Marlene (Crandell) Francis ’58, and Jack Price ’54 will receive the Emeritus Club Citation of Merit. The event will feature a buffet brunch, and all are welcome as guests of the College.

Emeritus Club alumni will have reserved seating for the Commencement ceremony, be recognized during the program, and then participate in the recessional, forming a corridor through which the new graduates exit, symbolizing the unity of the oldest and newest alumni – an impressive tradition, now it its tenth year.

Hornet Golf Jamboree
Yarrow Golf and Conference Center, Augusta
The 2009 Hornet Golf Jamboree, benefitting Kalamazoo College Athletics, will take place on Monday, June 15 at Yarrow Golf and Conference Center in Augusta. Registration is $120/golfer or $450/foursome. This fee includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a light breakfast, a boxed lunch, a cocktail reception, various prizes, and your gift to the Kalamazoo Athletic Fund.
