Visit the Zoo is an on-campus program for admitted students and their families. This program offers students the opportunity to meet with faculty members, attend a class, spend the night on campus, tour the campus community and city of Kalamazoo, and interact with current and prospective K students! Plus, there will be additional presentations on so much more, including our First-Year Experience and LandSea programs, Study Abroad, and the Arcus Center for Social Justice Leadership. Four Visit the Zoo programs will be held during the academic year on the following dates:
- Sunday – Monday, February 17-18, 2013 (Presidents’ Day)
- Sunday – Monday, April 7-8, 2013
- Thursday – Friday, April 18-19, 2013 *Due to overwhelming interest, registration for this program is now closed. Please consider an individual visit or the later Visit the Zoo program.
- Thursday – Friday, April 25-26, 2013
Overnight accommodations will be available for students on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to overnight host limitations, priority will be given to those who have not stayed overnight on campus before. Housing for parents is not available on campus.
We will provide free shuttles to/from the Kalamazoo Airport (AZO) and to/from the Kalamazoo Transportation Center (train/bus) at specified times. Be sure to reserve a spot on a shuttle when registering for the event and also provide us with your travel information.
