Settled In

I can say with complete certainty now that I am settled in to my sophomore year at Kalamazoo College. I do have to say, though, that it was a bit of a process.

Since I’m from out of state, I decided to store as much as possible on campus over the summer. When I got back, this is what I was faced with:

I took full advantage of those four square feet of space, seeing as the moment I unlocked it, the door swung violently open, and several of my belongings immediately fell out.

Thankfully, my excitement about the new school year carried me through the unpacking process. I was, after all, about to move in to this adorable Living Learning House on the edge of campus!

I live across from one of my best friends, I have a house full of girls to keep life exciting, AND I get to cook my own food in a nice big kitchen (compared to what I was used to in the dorms, at least). I still smile at least once a day when walking up to my house, because it’s just so cute and cozy-looking, isn’t it?!
