CRASH the Campus

November 8-9, 2009

If you are a high school senior of multicultural background, we invite you to spend a few days on our campus learning more about our dynamic campus community.  Kalamazoo College is an increasingly diverse liberal arts college with a focus on challenging academics and experiential education.   Our first-year class is our most diverse to date, comprised of 5% international students, 21% domestic students of color, and 34% students from outside of Michigan.

CRASH the Campus activities will include:

• An overnight stay on campus with a current student
• An Admission presentation
• Participating in a campus-wide scavenger hunt
• Attending a class
• Interact with current students, faculty and staff

If you would like to CRASH our campus, we ask that you fill out this one page application and send it to Hillary Teague via email (Hillary.teague@kzoo.edu) or fax (269-337-7390). The application deadline for this program is October 23.

• Be sure to include a copy of your transcript and test scores.
• At least half of your travel costs will be subsidized. If you wish to be considered for a full travel subsidy, please include a copy of an application fee waiver, which you can get from your high school counselor.
• A decision will be made on your attendance to this program within a week of your applying.
